Global warming dumped 170mm of rain on Broome last night, the monthly average almost. The last few days 230mm has fallen here, and continues to fall throughout inland WA. A few towns are going to cop a drubbing, I hope precautions are well in hand. Fitzroy Crossing comes to mind, they have some epic floods quite regularly, as the mighty Fitzroy River powers up. Another system is expected to move in this weekend.
